ALBERTA'S DIFFICULTIES
DEBENTURE DEFAULT OFFER OF HALF INTEREST (Received June 7, 7.25 p.m.) OTTAWA, June 7 The Social Credit Government of Alberta has defaulted in the payment of a 2,000,000 dollars debenture issue. Payment of half of the original 4 per cent interest is offered by the Government.
