r; PYJAMA GIRL CASE . : V \Hr ~ MURDER STILL A MYSTERY [froh our own correspondent] • ' ' SYDNEY. May 28 The Chief Secretary, Mr. 6. 0. Gollan, has approved a recommendation by the Police Commissioner, Mr. MacKay, to double the rewards in connection with the Albury pyjama girl murder. One thousand pounds is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the murderer, and £SOO for information resulting in the victim's identification. The reward will remain in force for three months. The unknown girl's body was found on the Hbwlong Road, near Albury, on September 1, 1934. The police are no nearer a solution than when they started. Investigations have cost the State thousands of pounds. The girl was aged from 23 to 27 years, fair to brown hair, grey-blue eyes, about sft. lin. in height. She had peculiarly shaped ears, large hands, and broad shoulders.
