SPEEDING MOTORISTS
Sir, —Recently the word "Slow,_ in very large lettering lias been painted on the roadway at the intersection of Mount Eden Road and Balmoral Road. No notice of this is taken toy the great majority of niotorists. Ihis intersection is a very dangerous one and if the authorities intend that the direction must be observed then they should occasionally station a traffic officer in plain clothes to catch the speedsters. In time W6 might hope to see "safety first." Resident.
