HOUSE DESTROYED

WHOLE OF CONTENTS LOST The residence of Mr. J. Drumm, of Broomfield Road, Whitford, was destroyed bv fire last week. None of the occupants was near the house at the time and consequently the flames had a strong hold before the outbreak was discovered. With a strong westerly wind blowing, it was not long before the building and its contents were destroyed. The house was insured for £750 with the New Zealand Insurance Company, while a policy of £l5O on the furniture and effects was held with the same company.
