NEW SPEED-BOAT
ATTACK ON THE RECORD LONDON, May 25 Secretly built from designs by Mr. Edward Spurr, an engineer, in collaboration with the late Lawrence of Arabia, a 10ft, speed-boat, christened Empire Day, is expected to attain a speed of ( J0 miles an hour. An attack will be made on the world record held by Italians of 70 miles an hour on Lake Windermere within three weeks.
