CRASH INTO WINDOW MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED CONDITION REPORTED SERIOUS In attempting to avoid a motor-car on the New North Road yesterday afternoon, a motor-cyclist, Allan O'Loughlan, of 22 Norman Road, aged 19 years, swerved 011 to the footpath and crashed into the window of a shop at the corner of Eden Terrace and Exmouth Street. He was taken in a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital suffering from concussion, leg abrasions and a cut on the head. His condition was reported last night as serious.

A child, Albert Poata Ncpia, aged four years, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Nepia, of Mount Wellington Highway, Ellerslie, was knocked down by a motor-car about 5 p.m. on Saturday and suffered a broken nose, severe abrasions and a fractured foot. He was attended by Dr. E. H. Bryant and was taken later to the Auckland Hospital. MOTORIST KILLED CAR OVERTURNS IN GRAVEL ACCIDENT NEAR PALMERSTON [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN. Sunday When travelling along Bushey Road this morning about a mile and a-lialf north of Palmerston a car skidded in some looso gravel and turned over three or four times, the driver receiving severe head injuries, from which he died in the Dunedin Hospital to-night. The victim was:— Mr. Frank Leslie Fox, second-hand dealer, King Street, Dunedin. Three other people wero in the car when the accident occurred. They were Mrs. Fox, who was seated in front with her husband, Mr. Arthur Fox, a brother of deceased, and his wife who wero sitting in the rear seat. Mr. Fox was preparing to pass another car travelling in the same direction, when the accident occurred. Deceased was picked up about 12ft, from the car in the middle of the road, but the other occupants escaped with minor cuts and abrasions. The car was badly wrecked. MOTOR STRIKES POLE INJURIES TO THE DRIVER Whilo driving a motor-car along Doiminion Road yesterday morning, Mr. Charles Avcrill Peters, of 13 Mewburn Avenue, Mount Eden, struck an elec-tric-power polo at the corner of Herbert Road. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance suffering from concussion and facial injuries.
