OVERSEAS LEAGUE
monthly bridge party The monthly bridge party of the Overseas League was held in the league rooms on Saturday night. On arrival the players were received by the convener, Airs. A. E. French, and Aliss C. Lane. About 30 tables were engaged for play, the winners being:—Contract, Airs. E. Smith; highest score, auction bridge, Airs. G. W. Plummer and Air. H. J. Spencer; hidden numbers. Air. G. Alills, Airs. Howard and Aliss Smith; mah jongg, Airs. Lawson. Supper was in the charge of Airs. Schmidt, Airs. Kelly, Airs. Wade. Aliss Lane and Aliss Hindle.
