INTER-CLUB MATCHES REMUERA DEFEATS PUPUKE The second round of the inter-club golf competition was played during tho week-end. Kernuera beatiug Pupuke by eight games to two, two being all square. The match botwecn .North Shoro and Otaliuhu resulted in a tie of five games each and two all square. JOHNSTON SUCCESSFUL [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Sunday The Northern Waikato golf championship, conducted in conjunction with the Onewhero Golf Club's annual tournament, was won by G. C. Johnston (Pukekohe) with a gross score of 163 over 36 holes. J. Mitchell (Pukekohe) was runner-up with 165. Details of the various events are as follows: Northern Waikato Championship.—G. C.
