f PEEK-END matches TROPHY COMPETITIONS DINNERS OF PATERSON CUP Ideal weather conditions prevailed during the week-end, when local golf clubs continued their various competitions. The third round of the captain's prize was played at Middleraore and also the second round of the No. 2 Tourney. The concurrent Stableford bogey resulted in a tie between E. M. Elliott and B. M. Darling, the former winning on the recount. L Williamson and C. Galloway tied for "first place in the first round of the Self Cup at Titirangi. I Fawsett led the field m the qualifying round for the Coltman Cup at ikarana. Thirty-two qualified and five players tied lor last place. The final of the' foursomes handicap for the Paterson Cup, played over 36 holes, was won by H. Cullen and A. J. Martin, who defeated P. G. F. Smith and L. J. Bryant, 1 up. I'he first round of the Latimer Bags was played at Glendowie. The third round of the captain's prize was decided at Otahuhu, the winner of the concurrent bogey being J. T. Mayson. A Stableford bogey at Pupuke was won by L. Hay. The captain's prize and secretary's prize competitions were continued at North Shore. At. A. Patterson was successful in a Stableford bogey at Maungakiekie, and F. Doherty won a bogey at Waitemata after a tie with J. Carter.
