AERODROME DEVELOPMENT POWER SUPPLY IMPROVEMENT [by, telegraph—own correspondent] TAURANGA. Saturday The Tauranga Borough Council has received a letter from the district engineer of the Public Works Department, Mr; R. H. P. Ronayne, that to date expenditure on the Tauranga aerodrome, wharf, and access .roads has been £13,000. The council is responsible for the purchase of the land, the total area being .about 300 acres.. . The. Under-Secretary of the Native Department, Mr. O. N. Campbell, has informed the council that the departinent canhot; undertake the. liabilities of guaranteeing the payment; for water to .
