CARD AFTERNOON
MT. HOBSON CROQUET CLUB The first of a series of card afternoons was held on Wednesday by tho Mount Hobson Croquet Club in their pavilion, Contract and auction bridge was played, the winners being Mesdames G. McArthur and F. Wilson, contract; Mesdames Thornton Matthews and Seymour, auction. Among those present were: —Mesdames Wight, Worthington, Middlebrook. Thornton, Perry, Laurie. Wilson, Bird, Harbutt, F. Wilson, Wetherilt. W. H. Johnston, F. Clark, Payne, D. Donaldson, 1). Harvey, O'Connor, Hamilton-Smith, G. McArthur, Webber, Graham, Jarvie, Healv, Cojthurst, Holroyd, Hopwood, Coutts, Coltman, Watts, I. Allan, Margison, Dukes, Shields, Allsop, McGregor, Barnett, Edgar, Kirk, Furncli, Joas, Briar, Garrard, Ryles, Pederson, Williams, Wright, Harvie, Buchanan, Lancaster, Whittaker, Gifford, Tomlins, Hardlev, Seymour, Rucg, Matthews, Aicheson, Johnston, Warnock, Key, Daniels, Grove, Cole. Renwick, Eaves, Jackson, Badeley, McKelvie, Linehan, Somervell, Burbush, Torrance, and Misses Rose, Humphries, Bowden and Wright. Tho prizes were donated by Mesdames Wetherilt, Lacy and Rugg.
