ACTIVITIES IN ENGLAND {jFROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] LONDON, April 14 Mr. G. F. Watson, of Auckland, who arrived in England last October to join the Royal Air Force, failed to qualify for his landing test. He is now with imperial Airways, and as a traffic manager is in charge of a staff of eight. Ho expects to leave shortly for visits-to Paris and Berlin to gain experience that will be valuablo to him in his position. His plans for returning to New Zealand are undecided. Mr. Fred Walker, of Auckland, ia at present spending a fortnight in Switzerland. He plans to see the Empire Exhibition at Glasgow, and then to stay with rolatives in Yorkshire. He hopes to make the round of London events in June, and then to leave in July for the Continent. Early in August he will leave England for Montreal and will also visit America. Eleven days are to be spent in Honolulu before he returns to New Zealand. The , Philip Leslie Agnew Composition Prize has been awarded by the Royal Academy of Music.
