Borough Council ltfst night, that the agreement for the-drainage loan'of £46,-000 should be' signed and' Sealed wh£n the order-in-council authorising it Wks gazetted. Mr. Guiniven said J the completion of the agrement would <mean a saving of £BOS, to the! ratepayers. Mr! W. M. White said it meant an initial waste of £lloo.' He added that he hoped no malice would remain alnong . members whqiv the- council dispersed.
