RELEASE ON PAROLE
CANADIAN OFFENDER OTTAWA. April 29 The former Social Credit adviser in Alberta, George Powell, who was sentenced in November to six months' imprisonment on a charge of defamatory libel, has been placed oa parole. He had been in gaol since February. In the release order there is no mention of the Court's recommendation for his deportation to England.
