MOTOR-CYCLE BURNED
FIRE FOLLOWS COLLISION RIDERS ESCAPE LIGHTLY A motor-cycle was destroyed by fire as the result of a collision with a motorcar at Papatoetoe yesterday morning. It was proceeding northward, on the Great South Road, ridden by Mr. Eric Brown, of Karaka, with a pillion passenger, when it came ijito collision with a car driven by Mr. J. Meyer, of Wiri. The exhaust pipe was torn off and the spilled petrol burst into flames. Within a few minutes the machine was destroyed by the fierce flames. The two riders were thrown clear of the machine and Buffered only .minor abrasions.
