ST. PETER'S CATHEDRAL IMPROVED FINANOES CREDIT BALANCE ACHIEVED [fbom otjb own corkesfondent] HAMILTON, Saturday "I think the Chapter should be congratulated on improving the financial position," said the Dean of Hamilton, the Very Rev. T. P. Weatherhog, at the annual meeting of parishioners of St. Peter's Cathedral district. The dean added that by economies and special efforts the deficit of £95 shown last year bad been turned into a credit of £44 this year.
Mr. J. H. Ledgerwood was appointed vicar's warden, and Mr. F. B. Hall was elected people's warden. The following additional officers were elected: —Chapter, Messrs. E. C. Bare, J. T. Reid, G. G. Winter, A. R. Turnwald, M. Riddington, H. M. Kirbv, G. A. Wheeler, A. Garland, and E. It. Fisher; synodsmen, Messrs. J. T, Reid, and A. L. Tompkins; representatives on deanery board, Messrs. Reid, Sare and Turnwald. ST. ANDREW'S, CAMBRIDGE [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Saturday At the annual meeting of St. Andrew's parish, the financial statement showed that the year concluded with a debit balance of £76, but it was explained by tho treasurer, Mr. R. S. Entwistle, that outstanding accounts from the previous year amounting to £7O had been paid. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Vicar's warden, Mr. C. A credit balance of nearly £SO was disclosed in' the accounts of the Church of St. Bride, Otorohanga, which were presented before the annual meeting of parishioners held last week. The Rev. K. R.
