WHANGAREI AFFAIRS EXTENSION OF AREA [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, Sunday At the annual meeting of the Whangarei Fire Board Mr. E. G. W. Tibbits was re-elected chairman. The financial position of the board, as reviewed in a statement presented by Mr. A. J. Wells, secretary, showed that at the end of the year a credit balance of £7O 12s 6d remained.
