JOCKEY INJURED
MISHAP AT AVONDALE CONDITION REPORTED SERIOUS When his mount, Mon Acre, fell three furlongs from the finish during the running of the Whan Handicap at the Avondale Jockey Club's meeting oil Saturdav, the jockey, George Cameron, 2L of 20 Henley Street, Parnell, suffered concussion. He was taken in a St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to be fairly serious.
