GERMAN ZEPPELIN
HELIUM SUPPLY NEEDED HITCH WITH UNITED STATES (Received April 17, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, April 16 As Germany's new Zeppelin is Hearing completion Berlin has formally asked the United States Government what it proposes to do about helium. Previously arrangements had been made to sell 18,000,000 cubic feet to Germany, but the Secretary of the Interior, Mr. H. L. Ickes, held up the sale on the grounds that helium was of military value.
