'J'ho principal event, a contest for the Strachan Cup, resulted in a tie between T. Elliot and a promising young member, E. Lomas. In the shoot-off Lomas won on the 15th bird Hesults:---kye-opener, seven birds: J. Darlington, (possible), 1; T. Elliot. E. Lomas and A. McLean (six birds), 2. Strachan Cup, l(j birds: E. Lomas, 1; T. Elliot, 2; J. Darlington, a. v lr.st giincraek, seven birds: J. Darlington (13yds to 25yds) and E. Thornton (13yds to 25yds) divided; E. Lomas (12yds to 2'lvds), 2. Koven-bird sweep: J. Darlington (pnssihle), 1; L. Elliot, E. Thornton and E. Lomas (six kills), 2. Second gimrrack, six birds: ,T. Darlington (13yds to 25yds). A. McLean (13yds to 25yds), J.
