The final between Fraser and Chegwiddon will be played at a later date. OPOTIKI CITIZENS' CLUB OCCUPATIONS TOURNAMENT [by telegraph —OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI. Monday A tournament was held on the Opotiki Citizens' Bowling Club green during the week-end. The competing teams represented various occupations. Results were as follows: — „. ~ First Round. —Manufacturers beat Civil Servants, Warehousemen heat Power Board, Hotels beat Citizens. Drapers lost to Pig Buyers, Drivers beat Butctiers, R.S.A. beat Farmers. Second round: Hotels beat Drivers, Civil Service beat Pig Buyers, Butchers beai Power Board, Manufacturers beat R.S.A., Farmers beat Drapers, Citizens beat Warehousemen. Third round: R.S.A. lost to Pig Buyers, Butchers beat Citizens, Power Board lost to Hotels, Civil Service lost to Drapers, Farmers beat Manufacturers, Drivers beat Warehousemen. Fourth round: Power Board lost to Citizens, R.S.A. lost to Drapers. Civil Service lost to Farmers, Warehousemen lost to Drivers, Hotels beat Butchers, Manufacturers beat Pig Buyers. Fifth round: Civil Service beat R.S.A., Farmers tied with Pig Buyers, Warehousemen beat Butchers, Drivers beat Citizens, Power Board beat Hotels, Manufacturers beat Drapers. The final of the B section was won outright by Manufacturers. Drivers and Hotels tied for section A, and in the play-off Drivers won. The final match between Manufacturers and Drivers consisted of five heads and was won by Drivers. NEW CLUB SUGGESTED MEETING AT RUAWAI [by telegraph —OWN correspondent] DARGAVILLE, Monday \ meeting of those interested in the formation of a bowling club at Ruftwai was well attended. Messrs. F. E. Barnard, I. Iv .Tones ari'l W. L Hughes represented the Darg:i\ille Bowling Club and Mr. 0. Williams represented the North Auckland Bowling Centre. They placed before the meeting information regarding the method and cost of laying down a cowling green. Questions uf site, costs end other expenses were fully discussed, after which a committee, comprising Messrs. A. Walters (chairman), L. Markham (secretary), T. Gregs.:.], S. Geagan, and H. Simmonscn, was set up to make a full inquiry into sites and plans for financing the proposal. It is estimated that about £ 100 will be required and about .{.'So was promised at the meeting.
