NO BAN ON LANDING AUSTRALIAN DECISION CANBERRA, April 9 , The Federal Cabinet will not intervene to prevent the landing in Australia of Judge Joseph F. Rutherford, of America, or to restrict his movements in Australia.
A cablegram from Sydney on Anril 3 stated that the Sunday Sun said th® Federal Government was to be asked to prevent Judge Rutherford from landing in Australia about April 20. The request, which was reported to have been backed by returned soldiers, was to have been based on the allegation that Judge Rutherford had attacked the British Empire. He was described as head of the organisation known as "Jehovah's Witnesses."
