OIL STOLEN
PETROL STATION ENTERED SIXTH TIME IN 12 MONTHS For the sixth time within 12 months the Ferry Petrol Station, located on King's Drive and owned by J. J. Craig, Limited, was broken into early on Saturday morning and a quantity of oil was stolen. A constable on night duty discovered that a small section of glass in the front door had been broken and the catch slipped, but there was little indication that the thief had made a thorough search of the premises. Since the first incident last year no money is left in the office overnight, and it is presumed that whoever broke into the station on Saturday made a cursory search for money, found none, and decided to steal some bottles of lubricating oil in the store. Nothing else appeared to have been disturbed.
