LADIES' ASSOCIATION NEWLY-ELECTED OFFICERS The closing date for entries for the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association's matches will be April .'JO, according to a decision made at the annual meeting of the association. The same grounds will be used as last year, two being at tho Teachers' Training College and two at Remuera. Tho commencement of the season was not definitely fixed but a tentative date i-s the first Saturday in May. A team representing the Auckland Association will play a practice match with a team from the United States, which will pass through Auckland on April 17 oil its way to Australia. The 'issociation will entertain the visiting players at tea. It was decided to make an alteration in one ot the rules to provide that delegate* from sub-associations and clubs should be eligible for positions on the executive committee. A rule giving members occupying the triple position of life-member, vice-presi-dent and iielesrate from a c'hib or sub-associa-tion the rifrlit to exercise three votes was also changed to the effect that each member will have only one vote.
