ALLEGED GAMING HOUSE
TOBACCONIST CHARGED Arrested by Acting-Detective-Ser-gennt Apjin nnd Detective Waterson shortly after noon on Saturday, Douglas Hipkins, tobacconist, was brought before Mr. W. Kiinc, J.P.. at the central police station and charged with keeping a common gaming house at 11 Commerce Street, City. On the application of the police Hipkins was remanded to appear in the Police Court this morning. Bail of £IOO was allowed.
