MOTHERS' UNION
A meeting of the Point Chevalier Mothers' Union was held on Thursday in the Church of the Ascension. The vicar conducted the devotional service. Mrs. Dtinhingham was the organist. At the general meeting held in the vestry tlie chair was taken by Mrs. Rattray, president of the branch. The speaker, Airs. Aickin, of Ponsonby, gave a helpful address on Holy Week, which was greatly appreciated by the large number of members present.
