" A Wife in Toledo," by Jackson Butld, is an exciting story of Spain just prior to the Civil War. A young Englishman gets involved in the intrigues which were rifo at the time, and, by his own recklessness, nearly loses his life, and the author's picture of pre-war Spain makes one wonder what sort of time the hero would have had in 19U7-HB.
