FREE KINDERGARTEN
ON&WA COMMITTEE MEETING AT NORTHCOTE The sinnual meeting of the Onewa Free Kindergarten committee was held in the Returned Soldiers' Hall at Northcote yesterday afternoon. The reports of the finance committee, the mothers' club, and the director were adopted. These showed that considerable progress had been made by the kindergarten since its inception last vear, the roll number increasing from 13 to 34. Mrs. A. Cowie was re-elected president and Mrs. A. J. W. Hodder, secretary and treasurer. Mesdames A. COwie and W. Stewart were appointed delegates to the Auckland Kindergarten Association.
