EPIPHANY CHURCH

DEDICATION SERVICE HAMMOND ELECTRIC ORGAN r A special service to dedicate tne newly-installed Hammond electric organ at Epiphany Church, Karangahape Road, will be held to-morrow evening at 7 o'clock. The service will be taken by the Rev. Jasper Caldcr, while his son, Mr. D. Calder, will be at the organ. The new instrument will fill a longfelt want, for, since the destruction by fire several years ago of the original organ, a piano and an harmonium have been the only means of providing music for the services. Tho Hammond electric organ has come into prominence during recent years. The instrument at Epiphany Church will be the first installed in any church in the North Island. Several well-known choral works will be given by a special choir at the service to-morrow night, these including:— "Gloria," from the "Twelfth Mass" (Mozart); "Jesu, Jov. of Man's Desiring" (Bach); "In a Monastery Garden" (Ketelby); "Rock of Ages" (arranged by Dudley Buck); and "As Pants the Hart" (Spohr).

A notice appears elsewhere inviting the public to attend the service.
