DISTRICTS NEAR ROTORUA STATEMENT BY MINISTER [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] ROTOKUA, Friday The definite steps that have been taken by the Government to extend the electrical reticulation to the Ngakuru and Horohoro districts was the subject of a statement released by the Minister of Tourist and Health Resorts, the Hon. F. Langstone, to-day. The Minister stated that on the. strong recommendation of Mr. A. F. Moncur, M.P., and reports from his departmental officers, lie had definitely decided that the reticulation of the Ngakuru and Horohoro districts should be undertaken with the ienst possible delay. A certain amount of survey work was still required to be done preparatory to ordering the necessary material, but the department would do everything in its power to expedite the work. "This reticulation should be of great service to the settlers in these districts, and I am very pleased indeed thnt the Cabinet lias approved the necessary expenditure in connection with the scheme "
