£40,000 SYDNEY FIRE
NEW LINSEED OIL FACTORY MUCH MACHINERY RUINED (Received April 1, J2.20 a.m.) SYDNEY. March 31 Fire to-day destroyed part of the newly-constructed linseed oil factory of James Barnes and Company at Alexandria suburb. The damage is estimated at £40,000. Much of the new machinery was ruined.
