OBITUARY
MR. JOHN DALGLEISH [from our own cohhkspondent] HAMILTON. Thursday Tho death has occurred of Mr. John Dalgloish, of Hamilton, at the ago of 79 years. Mr. Dalgloish was born at Wairuna, near Clinton, and when a young man lie wont to "Hawko's Bay, where ho was engaged as a drover and boundary rider. About 40 years ago ho movod to Cambridge, where ho was employed in breaking in horses. He established stables in Hamilton a year or so later, with tho lato Mr. A. MacDonald, and conducted them until 15 years ago. Mr. Dalgloish was closely associated with tho Waikato Trotting Club, of which he was for many years a steward. He was also a lifo-member of tho club and a life-member of tho Waikato Pacing Club, being a mombor of the committoo of tho latter body and treasurer for fivo years. Mr. Dalgleish was a bachelor.
