THE MINING MARKET EASIER TENDENCY IN METALS DROP IN NORTH BROKEN HILLS Weakness in metal issues was again the feature of business in the mining market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. North Broken Hills, compared with their last sale a fortnight ago, were secured 5s Id cheaper. Broken Hill • Souths also met with weaker support and, although some improvement was shown during the day, offers closed lower than those of Wednesday. Marthas remained steady and Mount Morgans also sold unchanged. Closing quotations were: —
