DONATION SUGGESTED POSTAL WORKERS TO BALLOT GENERAL FUNDS OF PARTY [BY TELF.GRAI'H —PRF.SS^ASSOCIATION"] HASTINGS, Tuesday The general funds of the Labour Party may shortly benefit by a donation of £IOOO from the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Employees' Association. The question of making the gift will be decided by ballot among members of the association, of whom there are about 10,000 throughout the Dominion. The vice-president of the association, Mr. T. Falconer, interviewed in Hastings, said the ballot would be held at a comparatively early date. It is understood that every member of the association will be asked to vote simply "Yes" or "No."
