PROGRESS AT DARGAVILLE PREPARING CELEBRATIONS [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent ] ' DARGAVILLE, Wednesday Tentative arrangements for the celeration of the 60th anniversary of the Dargaville School were discussed at a meeting last evening, when a suggested three days' programme was considered. It was proposed to hold a reunion at the school on the first day, followed by a conversazione in the evening; school sports on the second day. supported by a jubilee ball in the evening; and a thanksgiving service on the third day. Arrangements were also put in hand for the entertainment of visitors. The chairman, Mr. J. R. Alderson, said he had telegraphed to the Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Fraser, inviting him to be present and asking him to fix a date, either in the first week of May or at the end of May. As soon as advice came to hand a date could be set for the celebrations.
