TWO MONTHS !N GAOL [BY TEt.ECItAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT] WHANGAREI. Friday A sentence of two months' imprisonment was imposed on William Robb, aged 22. by Mr. G. N. Morris, S.M., in the Whangarei Police Court to-day, on a charge of the theft of benzine and oil. Accused pleaded guilty. Sergeant Geraghty said that accused and a companion drove from the Far North in an old car. helping themselves to benzine at various places en route. Rohb had been convicted previously tor other thefts committed on the trip. The magistrate warned accused tnat if he continued his present career he would be declared an habitual criminal.
