" THREAT TO STABILITY" BIG APPROPRIATION WANTED . (Received March 18, 7.10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Mnrch 18 Tho secretary of the Committee for Industrial Organisation, Mr. John L. Lewis, in a letter to the chairman of the Appropriations Coinniitteo of tho House of Representatives, issued a warning that the 13,000,000 unemployed workers were a "profound threat" to tho nation's stability. He asked for an appropriation of 3,000,000,000 dollars to provide a minimum of 3,500,000 jobs in the next fiscal year. • : ; -
