CAR OVER A BANK

DRIVER PINNED BENEATH! DAIRY FACTORY INSPECTOR [BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENTJ TAUMARUNUI. Friday A motor-car driven by Mr. Leonard Campbell Cooke, dairy factory inspector, of Piopio, went over a bank halfwav up the Hiwi Hill on the main highway between To Kuiti and Taumarunui yesterday afternoon. The wrecked car was seen later and Mr. Cooke was found pinned beneath it. He was extricated and sent to the 1 aumarunui Hospital suffering from serious face lacerations and a fractured jaw.
