STRENUOUS SPORTS DAYS RACING TO BE LIMITED • [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] CHRISTCHURCH, Friday Alarm at the manner in which schoolboy athletes were being "burnt out" by the time they left school was expressed at the annual conference of th» New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association this morning. It was decided to take steps to prevent secondary school athletes from competing in so many events in ona day at school championships.
