REDUCTION OF STAFF
OAMARU WOOLLEN MILLS DUE TO SHORTAGE OF ORDERS [BY TELEGRAPH —rRESS ASSOCIATION] OAMARU, Friday The Oamaru Woollen Mills have recently effected a fairly drastic reduction in their employees, while a number are retained for part-time workonly. The reason given for the position is that there is a shortage of orders due to heavy importations to the Dominion.
