PLUNKET SOCIETY

FETE AT HAMILTON [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday Brisk business was done at the Plunkel Society's annual fefe to-day, when the bright weather brought out crowds of interested visitors. The proceeds totalled £IOO. The site, which this year is on the grounds of tho old courthouse in Victoria Street, was by reason of its more accessible situation a factor making for better business, and the many stall-holders wore kept busy throughout the day. The organisation of the fete was in the hands of the president of the local branch of the society, Mrs. N. E. Blomfieid.
