AMERICAN CRUISER
VISIT OF LOUISVILLE NINE DAYS AT AUCKLAND ARRIVAL ON MARCH 4 The United States cruiser Louisville, flagship of the American squadron which visited Sydney in connection with the sesquicentenary celebrations, will arrive from Hobart at 2 p.in. on Friday, March 4, instead of in the morning as was earlier expected. Tha warship will leave Adelaide to-day for Hobart, where she will stay thre« days. The commander of the squadron, Rear-Admiral Julius C. Townsend, will not be on board the Louisville as he accompanied the other ships which attended the opening of- the Singapore Base. A State luncheon in honour of the visitors will be held at Auckland on March 7. The Louisville will remain at Auckland for nine days and will then riv turn to the United States by way id Tahiti.
