L. Wilson, of Auckland, at the annual meeting of tlio New Zealand Fire Brigades Officers and Members' Institute toAiay. Mr. 11. Girling Butcher, inspector of fire brigades, said he considered the. institute the most important * single activity of the United Fire Brigades Association. The papers read at the meeting were typical of the standard now readied by the service. . ..
