DEATH OF INFANT
YOUNG MOTHER SENTENCED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday At the Supremo Court this morning Stella Elizabeth Sedgman, aged 21, unmarried, who was convicted of the manslaughter of her newlv-born male child at Ngaere on December 11, with a strong recommendation to mercy, came before the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, for sentence. She was ordered to come up for sentence if called on within 12 months.
