ART COLLECTOR'S LOSS
HOME ENTERED BY THIEVES (Received February 20, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 19 Eluding watchdogs at the home of a prominent director of mining companies, Mr Claude A. de B£tnale, Alton Lodge, Roehampton, thieves removed a pane of glass from a window and stole pictures and unmounted jewels, valued at £3OOO. Mr. de Bernale's art collection, according to the Daily Mail, is worth £250,000.
