ILLEGAL SALE OF WINE
OFFENDER FINED £5 A charge of selling wine without a licence was admitted by Clement Vidah, who appeared in the Onehunga Police Court before Mr, 0. R. Orr Walker, S.M., yesterday. _ 1 Sergeant S. A. Brown said a constable had bought bottles of wine from accused on three occasions. The police found 52 bottles of assorted wines on accused's premises. Accused admitted having sold wine, which had been purchased from a manufacturer at Henderson. ■. . . , , „ Mr. Ching, who appeared for accused, said that ho was ft war. pensioner and that he\h<uL not sold more than six single bottles. Tho magistrate ordered the confiscation of the surplus liquor and inflicted a fine of £5. :
