Detective-Sergeant McHugh said that accused was in charge of the promises when the police raided them sis a result of complaints, at 8.35 p.m. on Friday. Fines of £2 and costs were imposed on the following: Henry Harding, Henry Bucklev, Victor Noble. Colin William Hay'don, Charles Viucent Duffev, Thomas Cuthbert Brownlie, Jack August, George Charles Adams, Gordon Alexander Archer and Stanley Roy Montgomery. "See that you pay, or there will be other costs," remarked the magistrate, allowing seven days for payment of the fines.
