VALUELESS £SO CHEQUE
FARMER ADMITS OFFENCE [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] GREYMOUTH. Monday A farmer, John Brewer, aged 42, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to obtaining £SO from Harry Digby James, totalisator proprietor, by means of a valueless cheque drawn on the Bank of New Zealand at Temuka, Brewer was remanded for inquiries with a view to probation.
