PRICE FIXED AT £117,950 DECISION BY MAGISTRATE [BY TELEGRAPH PHESS ASSOCIATION"] WELLINGTON. Monday A final settlement lias been reached in connection with the purchase price of Flock House. As the valuers, Mr. Mackie. Government valuer, Palmerston North, and Mr. A. Stuart, valuer for the Flock House trustees, Marton, could not come to an agreement, evidence was given in the Marton Court during December by other valuers. As the assessors could not agree, Mr. R. M. Watson, S.M., was apEointed umpire and in the Magistrate's lourt at Marton he gave the following decision: —Land, £96,080; buildings, £'lß,Bo.'}; forestry area, £3067; total, £117,950. The stock and chattels were valued and taken over bv the Government 12 months ago and realised approximately £36,000.
