WAUUTO VISITORS NERIHANA SPRINTS NICELY CONDITION OF OUR McKINNEY BY ABAYDOS ' Interest was added to the final trials nt Epsom yesterday by the presence of a number of Waikato-trained horses. Iho dirt track was in splendid order, and tho best effort was Nerihana's halfmilo in 1.5. .

iVaikato trainers with their representatives were L. N. Vernall, Our McKinney and AYall Street; C. It. "Wood, Win Huon and Harlow, F. gmith, Our and the two-vear-old Worthy Career; It. A. McMillan, Ventiku; and C. Burgo, Nerihana.

Nerihana (N. L. Vernall) worked an easy milo and then sprinted a half in .1.5, the last quarter in 325. He looks improved since his win at the summer meeting when he was driven by F. Holmes.

Our Peggy (F. Smith) was not fully extended while covering the last three of ton furlongs in 51s. She has built up nicely since last at Epsom and may be back to her good form of last February, when she won two races in 11. B. Berry's hands. Braemar(D. Ruthven) made no mistakes while trotting two miles, going solidly over the. last few furlongs. He appears to have shaken off the soreness which affected him at the last meeting. . -

A Fine Two-Year-Old Our McKinney (N. L. Vernall) waR allotted strong unhoppled work and his splendid condition attracted a lot of attention. Our McKinney < has come through his preparation in iine style and has good prospects in tho Otaluihu Handicap. If the track is soft alter the rain,, his prospects should be enhanced. .

Worthy Career (F. Smith) paced attractively over two circuits, but was not asked to go better than a 2.40 gait. He is a fine-looking two-year-old by Worthy Biugen from Ivy War, and, although his training was recently interrupted, ho may perform well on Wednesday, r ' " Worthy Empress (W. Aitken) was worked unhoppled and* gave a smooth display. The two-year-old is very well mannered and likely to improve with work.

Venuku (C. Brennap) wasilet-off with strong work. The Rey de Oro—Bicolour three-year-old has furnished well since his success at. Cambridge ahd is just tho type to provide a surprise in the Great Northern Derby. '
